Move for the Movement is a fun and lively non-competitive dance exhibition that brings together some of the most talented dancers and choreographers in New England to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
In the summer of 2012, Rose Flynn, a breast cancer survivor and avid Dance Mom, decided she would host a fun dance event as a way to raise money for important cancer research and treatments for those diagnosed with cancer.
This event is an awesome way for dance companies/studios to share in their passion for dance, raise money by donating their time and talents, and help raise cancer awareness in the community in a fun and positive environment.
In 2024 we celebrated 12 years of Move for the Movement shows in which with your help we have raised a total of over $335,000 for the American Cancer Society! We hope you will join us in 2025 for one of our shows and show your generosity!
